This page illustrates some additional ways to blend solar collector panels into the architectural style of a home. These photos are provided courtesy of Heliodyne Inc., 4910 Seaport Ave., Richmond, CA 94804; (510) - 237-9814 (Phone), or (510) 237-7018 (Fax).
Protective Overhang Above The Garage Doors

Simple collector mounting against the south wall.

These collectors fit nicely onto a south facing roof. This roof
structure also provides (vertical) north-facing clerestory windows for improved natural
lighting. This is an excellent example of "architectural integration!"

These collectors illustrate a standard residential subdivision
installation.

These collectors show a standard multi-family or dormitory installation.
Note: larger systems are (generally speaking) more cost effective than smaller systems
due to economy of scale.
